Paying Taxes and Banking Victory Points

Victory Point Rush

You could always try for a straight rush to victory points, which could actually work quite well. That is, if you can survive long enough (I think it would take around 500 rounds or so to do that) without a strong defensive strategy in place.

No Rush, Just Pay Taxes

I like to think of storing away some victory points as you go as banking them. Those bullets can no longer be used for anything else but they can't be lost either, you have them locked away. Although if you die you can't use that bank account, lol, so I guess they aren't really that safe after all.

So the idea here is that you want to treat victory points as a bullet tax you have to pay. Each time you are spending bullets go ahead and give a few off to the bank. If you aren't going for a straight victory point rush, this could actually help you build up to win before you know it.

Of course, be sure to watch that victory point bank account. If you see that you are getting anywhere close to the win level you should probably immediately change your game plan to rushing the victory points.

No Taxes, No Rush, Just Plant/Kill

If you aren't rushing for victory points or planning to slowly stockpile them as you go, at least lock in 1 victory point (or a few of them) right away. This will help if something goes really strange and victory points are the game winning deciding factor. If the other team hasn't banked any, your 1 point will win it.

Don't Throw Away Bullets

Whatever you do, make sure that you are donating the correct amount, I believe it's 10 at a time. Any extra that doesn't come out to getting a victory point is effectively thrown away.
